About Us

Real World Training started providing software training in 1992. Since our inception, we've trained more than 650,000 customers just like you!

We've also enjoyed a very long and successful partnership with Intuit. Intuit develops many software titles such as Quicken, QuickBooks, and TurboTax. We've been the officially-endorsed training partner for Intuit since 1998.

We began offering our most popular QuickBase course, Mastering QuickBase, in 2008. In this live, online class you learn how QuickBase can make you, your department, and your company more successful. You learn to use QuickBase the RIGHT way and leave with CONFIDENCE! We offer this course throughout the U.S.

We are based in Dallas, Texas and recently re-located to new office space near the Dallas Tollway and LBJ Freeway.

David J. O'Brien
David is founder and President of Real World Training. He is an award-winning speaker and has written more than 10 books. He has been teaching software since 1992 and has taught over 25,000 students! David continues to be an active member of our instructor team and is featured in several of our learning products. David lives in Dallas, Texas.

Brad White

Brad is Chief Operations Officer of Real World Training. He has consulted with thousands of small businesses. Brad is a former small business owner with extensive real world experience. And, in a former life, he was a computer programmer so understands all things "techie". He uses this experience to help students get the most out of QuickBase. Brad calls Plano, Texas home.

Trevor Matheson
Trevor is the Vice President of Product Development for Real World Training. Trevor has been teaching computer software since 1997 and consistently impresses audiences with his in-depth product knowledge and entertaining speaking style. Trevor has owned and operated several small businesses before becoming a full-time instructor. When Trevor isn't teaching, he helps develop our Learning Products. Trevor lives in Southlake, Texas.
