Does your training cover the most current version of QuickBooks?
Yes! We update our training courses every year when Intuit releases new versions of their QuickBooks software.
You offer products on CD and DVD. Which one should I choose?
The courses are identical whether you choose CD or DVD. The choice depends upon whether your computer has a DVD drive (most computers sold these days DO have a DVD drive). If your computer has a DVD drive, select the DVD version. The full course will fit on one DVD. If your computer has only a CD drive, pick the CD version. This means you'll need to switch CD's as you progress through the course.
Can I play the DVD using a standard DVD player?
The DVD version of this product can only be run on a computer with a DVD-ROM drive. You can't play the training on a standard DVD player connected to your television.
Do I need QuickBooks software on my computer to view the training?
No. Our special training interface installs all the software you need on any computer.
Are the training courses hands-on?
Yes. Each training course includes hands-on exercises that let you practice what you learn…while you learn.
Are the training courses easy to install?
Yes. Just place the CD or DVD into your computer's drive and the training software does the rest!
What are the minimum system requirements for the training?

I have an Apple Macintosh. Can I use your QuickBooks training courses?
Most of our QuickBooks training courses run on the PC. However, we do have one course for the Macintosh titled Mastering QuickBooks Macintosh Edition which runs on the Mac.
For MAC Learning QuickBooks:

Do you offer discounts on the training?
If you register for one of our in-person QuickBooks training classes, you receive discounts on the self-paced training courses. I am attending an in-person class in the future. Can I receive the discounted seminar price for the training before the seminar?
Yes! The training is available at a discounted price to class registrants at any time prior to or during the seminar. Call our office at 800-564-2688 to receive your discount.
I just placed an order for a self-paced training course. When will I receive the course?
You will receive your course in 5 to 7 business days. If you need your course more quickly, please call our office at 800-546-2688.
Is Real World Training a part of Intuit (the maker of QuickBooks)?
Real World Training is not a part of Intuit. We are an independent company that does training for only QuickBooks products. And, our QuickBooks training is the only training endorsed by QuickBooks.
Can I put this product on my network or harddrive, instead of using the cd's?
Currently, this is not an option. However, call our office to see if and when this option may be available.
Can I copy the training for other persons in the office?
The training is copyrighted and it is illegal to make copies. You may purchase additional copies by calling our office at 800-564-2688.
More than one person in my office needs the training course? How many people can I train with one copy of the QuickBooks training course?
The license agreements state that one copy is meant to train a single user. If you need to train more people, call our office at 800-564-2688. We offer significant discounts when you purchase multiple copies of a course.
Do you offer live, in-person QuickBooks training classes?

I use a specific version of QuickBooks...do you have QuickBooks courses designed for me?
Yes…we offer courses for most versions of QuickBooks. You can find all of our courses in our QuickBooks Training Catalog.
Do I receive CPE credits for finishing the self-paced QuickBooks training courses?
You receive CPE credit on all of our training courses except the following: Mastering QuickBooks Point of Sale, Mastering QuickBooks Macintosh Edition, Mastering QuickBooks Online Edition, and Mastering QuickBooks Simple Start. Click to learn more about CPE credit.
Are your QuickBooks training classes QAS certified?
No. However, they are approved by NASBA for CPE credits. Check with your state board to see if they require QAS certification for credit (most don't). Currently, Florida, Minnesota, Oregon, South Carolina, and Tennessee require QAS certification to award credit.
