At Real World Training, we strive to create trouble-free training products. However, we realize that different computer configurations can create conflicts with our software. This page contains resolutions to known issues with our Learning Intuit QuickBooks Accounting for Mac training product.

I get a message saying “the program has stopped working and needs to close”

Product(s) Affected: All Mac products

    Problem:

  • A warning message appears that says “the program has stopped working and needs to close”.

    Solution:

    Uninstall your current version of Adobe Flash Player.
    Click this link to be directed to Adobe.com.
    There you should download the newest version of Adobe Flash Player that includes a debug player or content debugger (i.e. a Debugger version). Follow the instructions to download the appropriate player.


    Your product should now operate without incident.

The audio and video do not match up, or the program skips

    Problem:

  • The audio and video are out of sync, or skip.

    Solution:

    This problem is usually caused by an outdated version of QuickTime.

    Follow the instructions to download the appropriate player.


    Your product should now operate without incident.
