How it Works
The QuickBooks Certified User program is easy and convenient, allowing you to attend an in-person training class or an online course. Here is how it works:
Step 1-Prepare for the Certification Exam
By taking the 2-day Mastering QuickBooks live class offered by Real World Training. This comprehensive QuickBooks training is specifically designed to cover the topics you will be tested on and need to know to successfully pass the Certification Exam. During the course, you receive two comprehensive workbooks which you can use as reference materials to help you pass the exam. For specific topics covered, click on the "Topics" tab.
Step 2-Complete the on-line Certification Exam
When you finish the in-person or online class, you are eligible to take the Certification Exam. You will receive an email following your course with instructions on how to take the exam. You must pass the exam with a score of 80% or higher. After you pass the exam, Real World Training will email your QuickBooks Certified User Certificate within
2-3 business days. This certificate confirms your inclusion in the QuickBooks Certified User Program.

- If you don't see a class scheduled in your area, the online course might be the best option.
- Some users prefer to work in the comfort of their home or office (only available in the online course).
-Some students want the direct interaction with other students that you get in the in-person class. You'll meet other users just like you and maybe even make some friends.
- Sometimes, it's just refreshing to get away from the office for a couple of days for the in-person class. It can serve to rejuvenate you. It's a great way to learn QuickBooks.
